Splendor of Rome will take us through the rooms of one of the capital's most fascinating villas, exploring the origins of the Borghese family and its deep connection with art and culture. The villa, which owes its birth to the Borghese family, is a veritable treasure chest containing masterpieces of sculpture, painting and architecture, created by some of the greatest artists of the Renaissance and Baroque, such as Caravaggio, Bernini, Titian and Raphael.<\/p>\n

Each episode will reveal anecdotes and curiosities about the history of the family, which is intertwined with the political and social events of the time, as well as the works of art that have made the Galleria Borghese's collection one of the most important in the world.
