Well-known faces from Italian cinema lend their voices to the world of poetry and literature, giving life to texts inspired by the masterpieces housed in the Galleria Borghese. In a harmonious marriage of art and words, \u201cArt that comforts. Contemporary dialogues by Galleria Borghese<\/strong><\/em>\u201d began as a series of videos and now becomes a podcast, inviting the public to rediscover works of art through the emotional intensity of words. It lets poetry merge with the memory of sculptures and paintings, creating a bridge between epochs, styles and artistic sensibilities.<\/p>\n

The first episode of this series inaugurates the project with a reading of Zadie Smith's \u201cFeel free - Ideas, visions, memories<\/strong><\/em>\u201d by actress Benedetta Porcaroli. The reading takes place in front of Gian Lorenzo Bernini's famous masterpiece \u201cApollo and Daphne<\/strong><\/em>\u201d.
\nIn the second episode, actor Alessandro Preziosi lends his voice to the reading of \u201cA month in Siena\u201d<\/strong><\/em> by Hisham Matar, a text that explores themes of belonging, memory and loss. The reading takes place in front of another masterpiece in the Galleria Borghese, \u201cDavid with the head of Goliath<\/strong><\/em>\u201d by Caravaggio.<\/p>\n

Finally, in the third episode, it is Enrico Lo Verso who gives voice to \u201cRoman Nights<\/strong><\/em>\u201d by Roberto Longhi, a fascinating reflection on the fascination of Rome and its millenary history. Lo Verso reads Longhi's text while standing in front of the famous painting \u201cPortrait of Scipione Borghese<\/em><\/strong>\u201d by Domenichino.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
