PAOLINA AS YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN HER: DISCOVER THE VIRTUAL TOUR OF THE ROOM
Galleria Borghese inaugurates an innovative pilot project that opens the doors of the famous Sala della Paolina to a global audience, transforming it into a space that can be fully explored digitally.
Thanks to a high-fidelity virtual reconstruction, visitors can move freely inside the room, observing every detail at 360 degrees and deepening their knowledge of the artworks and their history.
The experience is enriched by interactive points of interest that provide access to exclusive content: spherical photographs in very high definition, in-depth insights dedicated to Paolina, information sheets, and audio guides. The most interesting and innovative element of the project is the possibility to alternate, fluidly and immediately, free navigation in the digital space with exploration through immersive spherical photographs.
This dual mode of use offers two complementary perspectives of the same room within a single itinerary, allowing visitors both to experience the environment as if they were physically walking through it, and to observe it through very high-quality images that enhance every detail. Interaction is simple and intuitive: approaching a point of interest, the prompt to activate it by pressing the E key on the keyboard appears. The pink points of interest lead to the spherical photographs of the room, while the yellow ones allow visitors to explore the figure of Paolina through the artwork profile and the dedicated audio guide.
This is an experience accessible to everyone, designed to break down distances and allow anyone, wherever they are, to explore one of the most fascinating rooms of Galleria Borghese thanks to an immersive experience that integrates free exploration and multimedia insights.
