EXTRAORDINARY EVENING OPENINGS

Galleria Borghese renews its appointment with the extraordinary evening openings, offering the public the opportunity to visit the museum in a different, more intimate and evocative atmosphere.

In the evening hours, when the Villa is immersed in a new light and the spaces become quieter, the visit transforms into an experience of particular intensity, inviting visitors to observe the masterpieces of the collection with a renewed gaze. The evening openings will take place every Friday and Saturday from July 17th to August 8th, with the museum exceptionally open until 11:00 PM. On the occasion of these openings, it will also be possible to attend a video mapping show that will accompany the audience in an immersive narrative dedicated to the history of Villa Borghese.

Through images, lights, and animations, the events that marked the birth of the Villa starting from the 17th century will come to life: from the purchase of the land outside the walls by Cardinal Scipione Borghese to the creation of the residence intended to house one of the most important Italian art collections. A visual journey that weaves together history, architecture, and collecting, completing the visit with an experience capable of combining in-depth knowledge and wonder.
