Beyond Art History

Beyond Art History is a project that brings together experts in different disciplines for a new and engaging reading of the masterpieces preserved in the museum. The first episode is dedicated to art‘s look at women’s fashion and period costumes, through the analysis of some masterpieces from the Borghese collection. A real journey through time to discover the paintings and sculptures that represent extraordinary women warriors, mothers, sibyls, heroines, and the stories behind their clothes.

The protagonists of this exciting conversation are Maria Grazia Chiuri, Artistic Director of Dior Women’s Collections, and Filippo Cosmelli, art historian and Co-Founder of IFEXPERIENCE.
