THE FOURTH EPISODE OF THE ANIMATED FAIRY TALES BY GALLERIA BORGHESE IS NOW ONLINE: “WOW, EVERYTHING IS CHANGING !”
Wow, everything is changing ! This is the title of the fourth episode of the animated fairy tales by Galleria Borghese, curated by Micaela Carbonara and Fabrizia Puca—a new journey through art, imagination, and metamorphosis seen through the curious and amused eyes of Giulio, the little lemon. Inspired by the exhibition “Metamorphosis. Ovid and the Arts,” the fairy tale takes adults and children into the heart of Galleria Borghese, transformed for one night into a magical place where works of art come to life and anything can happen.
What if, on a full moon night, Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s stunning Daphne were to transform into a contemporary work of art?
This is what Giulio, ever curious and attentive, wonders as he amusedly watches the strange and unexpected changes involving young Daphne and her statue “friends.” Amid surprising encounters, transformations, and twists, the works in the gallery become the protagonists of a new adventure where past and present meet, and imagination paves the way for infinite possibilities. Just like in the great tales of metamorphosis narrated by Ovid, nothing here is ever truly still: what seems familiar can change shape, surprise, and reveal something new. And so Giulio guides young viewers to look at the artworks with different eyes, discovering that art can also be a place of play, wonder, and transformation.
Among fairy-tale atmospheres, curious characters, and unexpected metamorphoses, “Wow, everything is changing!” invites adults and children to let themselves be carried away by the magic of Galleria Borghese and to discover, through the narrative, its masterpieces and the stories that continue to live within its halls.
Because when you step into a museum, you never know what might happen…
